The project is almost a complete plane except the cockpit , rudder and horizontals that are missing . Everything is very good condition , perfect for a restoration .
The plane participated in the Battle of Britain movie , we think it was the RED 8 . This was the only plane that had an accident during the production when a wheel stucked in a hole in the strip damaging a little the gear , fuselage and wing .
The project includes a lot of minor parts in small containers . It also includes a lot of repeated parts that can be resold getting a lot of money like 4 radiators , 3 hubs etc etc .
It also includes a K-4 wreck , an accidented plane in 1944 with all the history of what happened . This plane is perfect to get the identity if the buyer wants a K-4 . Even though the project includes a DB-605 Block , the two cylinder rows , crankshaft and some other parts and also the necessary and correct steel to build new cylinders , we also have access to a complete overhauled DB-605 engine ready to be placed .
In case the buyer wants a Buchon , we have access to a complete Merlin 500-45 engine with logs and only 80 hr , and also with the Buchon cowlings , engine mount , tanks , hub , propeller , radiator , intake air box so , everything from a Buchon from the firewall forward .
